The essays should respond to the following question:<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u201cIf you were an African leader, how would you promote sustainable use of the renewable natural resources for fostering socio-economic transformation in Africa?\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All essays must be typed. The maximum length is two (2) A4 pages. The format shall be of single spaced, Arial font size 11 with page margins of 1 inch (2.54 cm) for each margin, and sent as a Microsoft Word document.<br \/>\n<script async src=\"\/\/pagead2.googlesyndication.com\/pagead\/js\/adsbygoogle.js\"><\/script><br \/>\n<ins class=\"adsbygoogle\" style=\"display: block; text-align: center;\" data-ad-layout=\"in-article\" data-ad-format=\"fluid\" data-ad-client=\"ca-pub-4564014896468666\" data-ad-slot=\"3464335665\"><\/ins><br \/>\n<script>\n     (adsbygoogle = window.adsbygoogle || []).push({});\n<\/script><br \/>\nEssays will be judged on the basis of originality, creativity, use of language and appropriateness to contest theme.<\/p>\n<p><strong>All essays must be written in English.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>PRIZES:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>A grand prize of USD $2,000 will be awarded to the overall winner. \u00a0Up to five winners will be selected.<\/p>\n<p>The winners will receive their awards at a prize giving ceremony to be held during the\u00a0<a href=\"httpss:\/\/uongozi.or.tz\/events\/the-african-leadership-forum-2019-promoting-good-natural-resource-management-for-socio-economic-transformation-in-africa\/\" rel=\"nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">African Leadership Forum<\/a>\u00a0Gala Dinner on 29th August, 2019, in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The ceremony will be attended by former African Heads of State and other distinguished leaders from the public sector, private sector, academia and civil society.
