The Goal of University of Dodoma is to increase the contribution of higher education in Tanzania’s attainment of economic growth, reduction of poverty and improved social well being of Tanzanians through increased access to higher education, technological innovation, generation and application of knowledge.

In order for this goal to be achieved the University provides first class hostels with all the necessary facilities needed by the student. There is provision of water services, electrical services and also cafeteria services for all rooms in the respective hostels.

All students are required to stay on campus unless they have other reasons specified in the students by laws. The university hostels have all the necessary facilities needed by the students.

The hostels are very friendly for academic prosperity and conducive for all students who wish to stay in this university.
Dean of Students and Dean of Students staff are there to ensure the well being and welfare of all the students in the Campus.
