Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST), Zanzibar

Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) is a parastatal organization under the Ministry of education and Vocational Training. It is entrusted with the responsibility of preserving, enhancing, transmitting and disseminating knowledge in science and techno logy by teaching, conducting reseach and consultancy in various field in the country.

KIST was established by the Act no.2 of House of Representative of Zanzibar of 2009 of successor to Karume Technical Collage (KTC) and become operational in 3rd October 2009.



The Karume Institute of Science and Technology (KIST) in collaboration with The United Tanzania Aeronautics College (UTAC) invites applications from qualified candidates for the admission into Bachelor Degree in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering and Pilot Studies Programme for academic year 2018/2019 scheduled to start on 5th November 2018.

Dr. Galus is a Medical Doctor who is licensed, registered, and allowed to practice medicine as a General Practitioner by the Medical Council of Tanganyika(in Tanzania).
