Call for Application
The General Public is hereby informed that, the African Regional Centre for Space Science and Technology Education in English (ARCSSTE-E) in the Federal Republic Nigeria is inviting applications for Postgraduate Diploma programme (PGD) in Space Science and Technology Scholarships to Tanzanian Citizens. Successful candidates will be required to pursue their studies in various PGD programmes for 9 months. Nominated applicants will be enrolled in Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife in the Federal Republic of Nigeria for the academic year 2019.
The PDG courses offered are
-
- Remote Sensing/GIS
- Basic Space and Atmospheric Science
- Satellite Communications
- Satellite Meteorology
- Global Navigation Satellite Systems
General Admission Requirements
- An applicant must have bachelor degree in Physics, applied Geophysics, Meteorology, Geology, Mathematics, Physical Sciences, Engineering, Computer Science and Geography, Remote Sensing/GIS, or any other Science related course from any recognized University or Institution.
- Documents to be attached with application form should include certified copies of:-
- Bachelor’s degree certificates;
- Academic Transcript;
- Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education Examination (ACSEE);
- Certificate for Secondary School Examination (CSEE);
- Birth Certificate; and,
- Medical report form
Tuition Fees
The Tuition fee for the PGD programme is N250,000, however the Centre offers full sponsorship covering Tuition fee, accommodation and return flights tickets provided by UNOOSA for foreign participants
