INTRODUCTION
The National Insurance Corporation of Tanzania (NIC (T) Ltd) is a state owned insurance company with a branch network all over the country. In order to strengthen its operations, the Corporation now needs to fill two vacant posts in order to obtain dynamic, dedicated and self motivated employee who will enable the Corporation to meet the aspirations of all its stakeholders especially customers.



The Corporation wishes therefore to invite candidates with competent skills to fill the following vacancies:-

DIRECTORATE OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION.

Assistant Record Management- One (1) position – at Head Office.

Requires Qualifications and Experience:
Holder of Diploma in Records Management from Tanzania Public Service Management or any other Institution registered with National Council for Technical Education (NACTE), ‘O’ level certificate, with passes in English. Working experience will be an added advantage.

Report to: Senior Record Management

Key Duties and Responsibilities.
To receive and record all incoming and outgoing mails
To keep file record by using file index and file movement cards/registry
Keep in custody all staff and subject files
To acknowledge receipt of mails
To ensure that, files are returned to the Registry after actions by responsible offices
Filling all correspondences and forward those to responsible officers/ departments for action.
To ensure that all outgoing mails are in order including the attachments.
Take periodical inventory of registry stocks.





DIRECTORATE OF FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATION.

Senior Record Management Officer- One (1) position – at Head Office.

Requires Qualifications and Experience:

The holder of this post must have Diploma in Records Management or equivalent from a recognized Institution plus Microcomputer application knowledge and experience of not less than 6 years in that field. Possession of degree in Registry will be an added advantage.

Report to: Human Resources Manager.

Key Duties and Responsibilities.
To institute efficient and effective procedures for receiving,recording, filling and retrieving of records documents,
To supervise registry,
To advise management on all issues related to record keeping.
To review policies related to archives and advise management accordingly,
To prepare and submit reports on record management,
To dispose of unwanted documents as per Corporation’s Financial and Staff Regulations,
To carry out any other related duties that may be assigned by Supervisor.
