Business Development Manager at T-MARC

T-MARC Tanzania is a non-profit Tanzanian organization working to improve public health and promote social development. Our socially marketed products and behavior change communication initiatives address pertinent health issues in family planning and reproductive health, child survival, water and sanitation, nutrition and communicable/non-communicable infections like malaria, HIV/AIDS and cervical cancer.

Currently, we are seeking suitable qualified candidates to fill in below positions for USAID Social Enterprise Support Activity (USESA). T-MARC through USESA grows the total market for priority health products by applying social enterprise responsibly: focusing on increasing users, reducing inequities, mitigating risks of crowding out the commercial sector, and sharing evidence and learning with all stakeholders.

Position : Business Development Manager

Reports to : Programs Director

Location : Dares Salaam

Broad Function:

Develop and operationalize a resource mobilization strategy for T-MARC Tanzania. Identify grant and other fund-raising opportunities that are in line with the organizations ‘mandate. Lead the development and packaging of grant proposals and other fund-raising activities. The position is also responsible for the development, maintenance and expansion of partnerships with funders, clients and other strategic collaborators.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree or International Equivalent in Business Administration, Public Health, Social Sciences or Related Field with a minimum five years’ experience developing and implementing successful resource mobilization strategies. Knowledge of Project Management Professional (PMP) is an added advantage.
